We spent a few days in this magnificent place that changed our lives for the better. We felt so much peace and joy. Tom's delicious meals were the cherry on top of every day. We also missed our best panda guide 🐼, a truly unique dog.
All these experiences will definitely stay in our memories forever. Thank you to David for sharing a piece of what was once his dream. Big hugs 😘

Amazing time, among alike souls. Akiko, Wuidmer and Tom took good care of us during our diet. We felt embraced and safe to experience and experiment with new ideas.

This is how I arrived at a piece of heaven on earth. A feeling of home in the middle of the jungle, wild and full of animals alongside warm hospitality and uncompromising conditions. Watching the monkeys from a mosquito-protected hut, a few steps from the river, surrounded by evergreen jungle and good company. I recommend everyone to visit and experience the magic of El Duende

An excellent place for a peaceful stay in the jungle, by the river, and incredibly restorative during periods of fasting. The two shamans who work at the center are completely trustworthy, which is very important during a ceremony. I left feeling transformed; I realized I was the answer to all my questions, and all my searching came to an end. Thank you to the whole team as well. A great place for fasting. I recommend it 100%.

I had the most comfortable and beautiful experience at Magia Del Duende. Akiko , David and their team are wonderful hosts. From the natural beauty , to the keen care taken during the dietas , the food at the cafe and the home made products at the shop everything was truly genuine and authentic. I recommend to anyone looking for a great detox experience in the jungle ! Thank You

A wonderful place. And wonderful people, especially Akiko. You are taken care of every step of the way. And the food is healthy and delicious, and very cheap. I had a great time there. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to go on a diet with ceremonies or just relax in the middle of the jungle.

I was at magia del duende in spring of 2024. The experiences I had and the connections I made were of a depth and power rivaled by few others in my life. Healing is the essence of this place -- you feel it when you walk through the gate. There are so many places offering dieta and ceremonies in Peru, it can be overwhelming to choose. I had a feeling about this place, so I came, and it turned out to be one of the most important decisions of my life. So, you reading this, if you feel the call -- I urge you to heed it. The duende awaits you.

I just spent a wonderful time in Magia del Duende. I had my first experience with Master plants and I felt totally safe and professionally treated.
Besides, the atmosphere there was really beautiful, calm, kind and allowing a true connection with nature, with oneself and with the others.
Great location and good tips and contacts from the staff regarding activities in the surroundings. I spent a lot of time with local people so that it felt a real experience and not a "theater" for tourists.
I can only be thankful that I found Magia del Duende and its amazing team!:)

I had the chance to spend several months at Duende, a unique place in the Amazon that combines ecology, medicinal plants, and respect for local traditional cultures. I experienced a truly authentic connection with the jungle, surrounded by David and Akiko, who are warm and caring, as well as by a thoughtful team.
An enriching and profound experience that I highly recommend!

Magia del Duende gave me some of the most magical moments I’ve yet experienced. What stands out most to me is the staff- their attentiveness, their generosity and humor, and the many ways they provide physical and emotional nourishment. It is a rare opportunity to commune with the land, the medicine, and the people in a way that is both deep and full of light.
So much care has gone into the cultivation of this retreat- every step and stone and tambo. The simple facilities allow you to connect with the beautiful wildness of nature in all its feelings and sounds. It is also quite luxurious to have a waterfall as your shower! For anyone looking to do a dieta, I highly recommend this place. You also must do wachuma with Nick- it is pure wonder and magic!

Magia del Duende is a magic place for real, highly recommended!
We spent two weeks there, during which we really could enjoy this part of the Selva (birds, apes, wonderful trees, an amazing spot to swim in the river!), and enjoy the respectful company of the people who are taking care of it and of guests too.
David, Akiko, Wuidmer and the entire crew will warmly welcome and help you.
Ecological buildings and toilets, amazing healthy, local food, lovely dogs and cats, epic sunsets and total peace.
A nice library and musical instruments are available for guests, and another thing that we really appreciated is that they organize many activities (ceramic, soap, chocolate workshops and many others) involving local artisans in the village nearby, showing how much they care about being part of the local community.
If we ever have the chance to come back to Perù, we would definitely pay them another visit!

I fell in love with that place from the first moment I visited it…! Therefore, after I left, I couldn’t forget how peaceful and harmonized with nature I felt, so I had to get back…! And I did! For longer this time…! I spent the most amazing weeks of my trip in Peru there, not only because the aesthetics are according to my taste (completely harmonized with the Amazonian rainforest while there are commodities), but also because of the beautiful people who live, work, and own the place. The energy of this place is unique; the calmness you feel and the healing you receive are the most valuable characteristics you can gain from your stay there! Plus, it is just a 20-minute walk (in the amazing nature of Chazuta) to the village where you can find anything you miss, which probably be nothing…!

I loved it to stay at Magia del Duende. It's a super beautiful place, calm and perfect to reconnect to yourself and the nature. The people are really lovely and they make sure that you feel safe and good all the time. Best water provided from the spring and super rico comida cooked by the team. There is a river where you can go for a swim and lovely places to hang around in the whole place. As well you can go for a walk and find super beautiful and stunning places. I recommend that place a 100%
